Professional Education
I started my academic career by completing my doctorate in a school of medicine and as a faculty member in Schools of Pharmacy.
I taught at two Schools of Pharmacy for over 12 years, and was responsible for creating the World's first and only online Doctor of Pharmacy program. In addition to teaching within the curriculum, I delivered numerous continuing education programs both locally and at national meetings.
As Provost at FHSU, I assisted with implementation of the University's first doctoral program in Nursing Practice and the development of an Ed.D. program.
As Vice Provost at Mercy College, I managed the state approval process for their first proposed Ed.D program.
I have had experience with the professional accreditation processes for pharmacy (ACPE), education (CAPE), and engineering (ABET).
