I am a first-generation student enabled by education – and committed to expanding those opportunities for others.
I was the first in my family to graduate high school. My education transformed my life and opened doors for me. That transformational opportunity drives my work. I’ve devoted my career to expanding access, strengthening institutional capacity, and helping colleges and universities create environments where students, faculty, and staff can thrive.
My experience spans research universities, comprehensive state institutions, private non-profits, and global partnerships across three countries. I’ve served as provost at two universities, built new colleges and academic divisions, and founded the HELLO Community, a worldwide network of more than six thousand higher-education leaders.
What Matters to Me

Education as a vehicle for social justice

Data-informed decision making

Innovation paired with practicality

Supporting people so they can do their best work
