» My Career Path

A career across six institution types, three countries, and countless collaborations.

My career spans an exceptional range of higher-education environments—research universities, regional comprehensives, private non-profits, Hispanic-serving institutions, professional schools, open-access colleges, and multi-campus state systems—alongside roles in both industry and entrepreneurial technology. I have worked at institutions enrolling from 4,600 students (Fairmont State) to over 80,000 (Penn State), and in missions ranging from access-focused to Research One. This breadth has given me a rare, multidimensional understanding of how very different institutional types function, evolve, and succeed. The following is a timeline of the institutions at which I have worked, my title, and a few key achievements. The logo of each institution links to its about page. The year on the path is the start date for each position.

In addition to these full time positions I have also worked on many entrepreneurial projects, including my own companies and organizations.
